The flat-four that changed everything. Born from Rudolf Hruska's vision at Pomigliano d'Arco, the Alfa Romeo boxer powered a generation of lightweight, affordable sports cars — from the Alfasud through the Alfa 33, culminating in the 16-valve Permanent 4.

Busso V6
Giuseppe Busso's masterpiece. Twenty-six years of production, from the original 2.5 12V to the final 3.2 24V. The engine that gave Alfa Romeo its voice — a naturally aspirated V6 that no turbocharger has ever truly replaced.
